Billing and Structure of Fees
Rafiki believes that fees charged for services rendered or proposed to be rendered shall depend on the nature of the matter to be attended to, whether contentious or non-contentious and shall be charged according to The Advocates Remuneration Order or as agreed and or negotiated between the parties and in the case of dispensation—while taking into consideration The Advocates (Professional Conduct and Etiquette) Regulations. The Advocates Remuneration Order and The Advocates (Professional Conduct and Etiquette) Regulations can be accessed through our website downloads section for further reference. However, the following table stipulates the charges that can be billed on the named cases:

Notwithstanding the fee structure in the foregoing, charges for delivering advice, opinions or similar service es shall be fixed as stated in the Notaries ·Public and Commissioners for Oaths Notice and RACA’s Billing and Structure of Fees. Unless agreed otherwise and considering the time to be spent in delivering the requested services, complexity, size and activities involved in the task, the fees may be revised downward or escalated after consultation with the client. RACA will take into consideration, while providing such services, the circumstances, urgency and category of the services to be provided on fixed or capped, volume discounts or standard fees agreement.
In addition, for work charged on an hourly rate, the charges shall be subject to the table below:
