Otieno's Bio
Otieno is a founder and serves as a Managing Partner of the firm. He has extensive experience in a legal profession. He has served different non government organizations hold various positions ranging from legal officer, manager, deputy director and director. This experience assisted him in acquiring competence in laws relating to NGOs and private companies management. His area of practice range from the law of contracts, litigation, family law, civil and criminal law, mining law, conveyance and land law.
Otieno holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PgDip) from the Law School of Tanzania and Bachelor of laws Degree (LL.B) from Tumaini University Iringa University College. He is currently in his final stage of his Masters Degree by Thesis that he pursues at the Open University of Tanzania.
Above all he has strong communication and interaction skills both within and outside the legal fraternity. He can easily build relationships with clients while equipped with strong negotiations and mediation skills. He has extra skills in proposal writing, presentation and facilitation skills, organization development skills as well as management, monitoring and evaluation of donor funded projects for CBOs and NGOs.
Otieno is a member of Tanganyika Law Society, the Bar Association of Tanzania Mainland, East African Law Society and the International Bar Association.
Issa Sarato Kisiroti
Sarato's Bio
Sarota is an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts thereto save for primary courts. He holds a Masters Degree in Law (LL.M) in International Law from St. Augustine University of Tanzania and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from Open University of Tanzania.
Sarota has wealth experience and skills in immigration and international law. He is also an experienced criminal lawyer both in prosecution and defence.
He is both a member of Tanganyika Law Society and East Africa Law Society.
Kalabo Mabula
Kalabo's Bio
Kalabo joins the firm after completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania and after her admission to the bar in 2014. She has been a legal officer of RACA for some years. Before moving to law school she was working with New Light Children Center Organization as a legal aid officer and a project coordinator.
She has experience in drafting contracts, pleadings and has interested in litigation. She therefore holds Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania and Bachelor of Laws Degree from Tumaini University Iringa University College.
She is a member of Tanzania Law Society.
Laurent Francis Bugoti
Bugoti is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts thereto save for primary Court. He is a graduate of St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) and after his undergraduate studies he joined the Law School of Tanzania for his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PGDL). He successfully passed his exams in the first sitting.
He has several years of working experience before joining the firms. His main areas of practice are labour and land dispute settlements, litigation both civil and criminal, contract drafting, consumer rights and mining.
Bugoti is currently working with the firm as an Advocate and Junior Associate. He is the member of Tanganyika Law Society.
Elina K. Simon
Elina is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinate courts thereto save for primary Court. She is a graduate of St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) and after his undergraduate studies she joined the Law School of Tanzania for his Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (PGDL).
Elina is currently working with the firm as an Advocate and she is a member of Tanganyika Law Society.
Ernest Makene
Ernest is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and subordinates court thereto save for Primary Courts. He holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) in Information Technology Law and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from the University of Iringa. He was admitted to the bar in 2018 and before that he has worked with the firm as a legal officer for almost four years. He brings with him enormous experience in legal advocacy, contract drafting, litigation, information technology law, labour disputes handling and both civil and criminal litigation.
